Revd. Steve and his wife Linda have been much-loved members of our ministry team and church community, and they have both contributed much to the life of St Marys’ and the benefice during their time here in Tetbury.
Steve’s last service will be at 10am on Sunday 15th February in St Marys’ Tetbury. We do hope that you are able to come along to wish Steve and Linda well as they start this new chapter in their lives.

17th February 11am in the Pub – Come along for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.
Book Club
At the meeting to discuss Nancy Mitford’s Christmas Pudding it was thought that it was not one of her best works but had been a fun choice to read over Christmas. It certainly shone a light on the idiosyncrasies of the aristocracy of the 1930s.
The next choice is The Island by Victoria Hislop and the meeting will be on Thursday 26th February at 6.30pm.
Knead Bakery
Knead Bakery will be in the Village Hall car park on 7th February at 11am.
Playground Refurbishment
The work on the playground is coming along well. The Parish Council hopes to be able to give a date for the reopening soon.
Village Litter Pick – a date for your diary
Saturday 28th March – 10.30am in the Village Hall Car Park.
Please come along and help remove the litter from our footpaths and verges. Caroline Baker and her team will be providing bacon or haloumi sandwiches on our return to the village.
Summer Fete
There is a Summer Fete planned for June – please put the date in your diary and contact one of the Parish Councillors if you are able to help.

ELIZABETH HODGES EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
GLOUCESTERSHIRE
The Trustees of the Elizabeth Hodges Trust will be holding its next meeting on Tuesday 10th February 2026. Anyone who would like to be considered for a grant to help towards promoting education should apply in writing. All grants to assist with further studies either at University or on an apprenticeship, are looked at individually and are considered on their educational merit.
The Deed specifies that the income of the Foundation shall be used in promoting education (including social and physical education) to persons under the age of 25 who live, or whose parents live, within the following parishes: Shipton Moyne, Long Newnton, Westonbirt and Lasborough, Didmarton, Ashley and Tetbury Upton, and require financial assistance.
Therefore, you do not need to be going to University to apply, we will also consider apprenticeships, educational trips and equipment purchases, etc for the furtherance of education (including the study of music and other arts).
