Highgrove House & Gardens
Highgrove House is the private residence of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. Located just over a mile to the north of Shipton Moyne village, Highgrove's gardens are open for tours between April and October each year. Entrance to the Highgrove gardens is by advance ticket only. Tickets can be purchased online and at the Highgrove Shop in nearby Tetbury.

Westonbirt Arboretum
Westonbirt Arboretum is the national arboretum. It is about two miles from Shipton Moyne and is one of the major visitor attractions in the immediate area. The arboretum was planted in the mid-19th Century by the owner of Westonbirt House, Robert Holford and subsequently expanded by his son, George. Westonbirt Arboretum hosts many events throughout the year, as well as being a spectacular place to walk and admire the 15,000 plus trees.

Tetbury
Tetbury is a market town in the Cotswold, which was once a major centre for the wool trade. Tetbury is just two and a half miles from Shipton Moyne and is full of places to visit and to shop. Highlights include St. Mary's church, the Chipping Steps, the Market House, the Police Museum and the arts centre in the Goods Shed. Tetbury is known for its antique shops and, of course, HRH The Prince of Wales's Highgrove Shop on Long Street.

Chavenage House
Chavenage House is the Grade I listed private residence of the Lowsley-Williams family. The current manor house was built in 1576 in Cotswold Stone. The house is open on a limited basis for public tours and is also for corporate events, conferences and weddings. Chavenage is well-known as a filming location, especially for its central role in BBC's Poldark series.

Badminton Horse Trials
The Badminton Horse Trials take place each year in early May in the park of the Duke of Beaufort's Badminton House. The Badminton Horse Trials was first held in 1949 and is a CCI five star event. It attracts around 250,000 visitors each year and is a major local and national event. Shipton Moyne's pub, B&Bs and holiday lets are great favourites for Badminton visitors!

Badminton House is the seat of the Duke of Beaufort, located about 20 minutes from Shipton Moyne. Although a private residence, the Badminton Estate holds events throughout the year.
