Knead Bakery
Knead Bakery will be at the Village Hall Car Park on Saturday, 4th July at 10.45 – 11.30am. Always worth a visit for coffee, cakes and bread.
Coffee Morning at the Village Hall
The next Coffee Morning in the Village Hall is Saturday, 11th July at 10.00 am. Please join us for delicious cake and sausage rolls and the chance to chat with neighbours.
Summer Fete
With many thanks to all who helped out at the Village Summer Fete. It was a wonderful afternoon and a lot of money was raised for Village Charities. In particular, thanks to Richard and Helen Willis for hosting the fete in their lovely garden. Over £2,300 was raised which was a wonderful effort. Here is the breakdown of the money raised:

Cat & Custard Pot
The next coffee morning at the Pub will be on Tuesday 221st July at 11am. As usual there will be coffee and a delicious slice of cake.
The Sunday music evenings in the Pizza Chalet continue –

All starting at 6pm. Do come along for a pizza or salad and enjoy the music.

Book Club
The Book Club is meeting to discuss My Friends by Fredrik Backman and the meeting will be on Thursday, 2nd July at 6.30pm in the Cat & Custard Pot. All welcome.
Next month’s book will be chosen by Caroline Chambers. The meeting will be in the pub on 30th July.
Road Closure
There will be a meeting tomorrow to discuss the next phase of the work and I will let you know what the plans are afterwards.
