Victoria Orr-Ewing
Victoria Orr Ewing is holding an exhibition of her work at Aleph Contemporary in Stroud, her first time showing with a local gallery.
She would love people from the village to come along. There’s no expectation to buy anything, just to come, have a look, and see what you think. The opening is on 22nd May, 4–8 pm, and everyone is very welcome.
If you can’t make the opening, the exhibition runs until the end of June, Wednesday–Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.
Aleph Contemporary, New Imperial House, Station Road, Stroud, GL5 3AR. Plenty of parking around the station.

Knead Bakery
Knead Bakery will be at the Village Hall Car Park this Saturday, 2nd May, at 11.00 – 11.45am. Always worth a visit for coffee, cakes and bread.
Coffee Morning at the Village Hall
The next Coffee Morning in the Village Hall is Saturday, 9th May at 10.30 am. Please join us for delicious cake and sausage rolls and the chance to chat with neighbours.
Summer Fete
Summer Fete – Saturday 13th June at Court Cottage, by kind permission of Richard and Helen Willis.
There will be a Treasure Hunt at 2 pm for the children kindly arranged by Helen Willis and Harriet Lattimer followed by the Fete at 3pm until 5 pm. Please tell your family and friends and if you can help set up and clear down on the day we would love to hear from you and would be very grateful for your very kind donations for the following:

Cat & Custard Pot
The next coffee morning at the Pub will be on Tuesday 19th May at 11am. As usual there will be coffee and a delicious slice of cake.
The Sunday music evenings in the Pizza Chalet have been restarted and there have been three very good evenings so far. Next month’s musicians are:

Book Club
The Book Club is meeting to discuss A month in the Country by J L Carr and the meeting will be on Thursday, 30th April at 6.30pm in the Cat & Custard Pot. All welcome.
Dance Workshop
Dazzle are running a dance and stretch class in the Village Hall on Friday morning at 9.15 – 10.30am. £12 per session. You can buy your tickets online at dazzleworkshops.co.uk.
Road Closure
Hedgeditch Lane in Shipton Moyne Parish will see a temporary closure from May 5 to May 7, for lead pipe replacement works. The restrictions are expected to remain in place for the entire duration of the works, affecting a distance of approximately 20 metres.
