Dear All,
St John the Baptist
A big thank you to the Revd Dr Steve Bullock, our new curate, who took the Family Service last Sunday. We did not know that we had a magician in our midst and were much entertained by his sleight of hand.
This Sunday we celebrate All Saints Day, but as it is the 5th Sunday in the month there is no morning service in Shipton Moyne. There will instead be a benefice evensong in Beverston at 6pm on Sunday. All welcome.

Bonfire Night
Preparations for Shipton Moyne Fireworks are proceeding well. It’s not too late to volunteer to help out with the gate, bar or bbq. Please let Kate Allies or James Birdwood know.
Tickets are available from Doreen Gibbings and the Cat & Custard Pot.
£10 adults £5 children. It would be appreciated if you buy your tickets in advance so we have some idea of numbers for the bar and food!
If you are making a guy please use only combustible materials, ie no metal or plastics. If anyone wants some straw to stuff their guy we have plenty here.
