The church services for the next month are:
- Sunday 29th October – 6pm 5th Sunday Benefice Evensong in Shipton Moyne. Do come and stay for a glass of wine afterwards. No morning service.
- Sunday 6th October – 10.30am Benefice Tetbury Music Festival Service at St Marys’ Tetbury. No service at Shipton Moyne.
- Sunday 13th October – 11.15am Harvest Festival Please bring your gifts of tinned and packaged food which will be donated to the Tetbury Food Bank.
- Sunday 20th October – 11.15am Holy Communion taken by the Revd Julie Nicholson.
- Sunday 27th October – 11.15am – Family Service.
Martin Allies
A beautiful service was held for Martin Allies on Thursday 19th September and the church looked beautiful thanks to all the Shipton Moyne flower arrangers.
The Allies family have asked that donations in his memory should be made to the village recreation ground and over £1,400 was raised at the funeral. If you would still like to make a donation in his memory please send a cheque made out to Shipton Moyne Recreation Ground to:

The Cat & Custard Pot
Starting in October we will have live music in The Chalet every Sunday evening between 6:30 and 8:30
The Pizza kitchen will be open from 4pm on Sundays.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C262 WHITEHOUSE LANE (SHIPTON MOYNE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under
the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
to temporarily close part of the C262 Whitehouse Lane from its junction with
Easton Grey Road to the Crossroads for a distance of approximately 1095
metres.The reason for the closure is for Water apparatus repair and replacement
works.The said road is expected to be closed from 30th September 2024 until 2nd
October 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the
later. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on

Pedestrian access to adjacent properties, and emergency access, will be
