Dear All,
PANTO
Well done to everyone involved in the Panto – it was a huge success.
Here are a few of the comments we have received about the Panto:
What a wonderful evening of joy, musicality and shear entertainment. We had a very happy evening and left with light hearts leaving the woes of life behind. Best two hours I can remember.
HAIt was a marvellous team effort and we appreciated the huge amount of work that would have gone into putting on such an event and we send our heartfelt thanks to all involved.
H & TJust to say thank you to everyone involved for such a really great evening. Absolutely brilliant – we loved it.

Panto Hobby Horses
We are (see photo below) Gypsy, Finnegan and Bilberry, stars of the stage (well, perhaps that’s a slight exaggeration but we did have canter on parts in the village panto). Like many stars, we’ve been asked to help with the fundraising efforts of a charity – in this case Shipton Moyne’s Village Fund which is looking to install a loo in the church and upgrade the playground at the rec – by donating something to be auctioned. After considering and discarding ideas such as the browbands we were wearing when the King (then Prince) joined the Beaufort Hunt for the day; a pair of tickets to the next Hunt Ball; locks of hair from or manes or an old horseshoe or three, we’ve come up with the perfect item – OURSELVES!
If you’d like to bid for one or all of us, please email/WhatsApp/text our breeder Helen Willis with your bid and the name/s of the horse/s you’d love to own. She will put the highest bids on the village WhatsApp and email at 4pm each day so you can increase your bid if you wish. The auction will close at 5pm on 28th February and the new owners will be notified shortly after that.
So get bidding and help to raise as much as possible for a very worthy cause.
Helen Willis
