- Sunday 21st July – The Confirmation Service in Tetbury that was to take place this Sunday has been cancelled. There will now be a regular service of Holy Communion in Shipton Moyne on Sunday 21st at 11.15am taken by Reverend Sarah Heywood.
A Message From The Parish Council
We have been advised by the planning co-ordinator for the repairs to the water supply works that when the site manager turned up for work on Monday morning the signs and the cones had been vandalised.
They have been very helpful to us in keeping the road open for the Magic Gardens, our Fete, the Cat and Custard and our Village Hall users by adopting a Soft Closure approach to the works so that the village remains open to drive through carefully. This is therefore a gentle reminder that the cones, barriers, signs are set up for information and safety along the Highways. If this happens again (and they do have a photograph of the person responsible) they will set up a Hard Road Closure which will be damaging to the pub and to the Village Hall and impact all the residents.
Please remember that the benefits of a new water replacement of the old main which has come to the end of it’s serviceable life, will in future prevent bursts, interruptions to your supply, traffic and access disruptions.
We appreciate the frustration many may feel but please respect the fact that they have a job to do.

Village Fete
What a wonderful day we all had at the Village Fete.
A message from the organisers
To all you wonderful people who baked, potted up plants, donated, ran a stall, helped with the treasure hunt, set up, cleared up, played and sang. To Richard and Helen for a beautiful garden in which to host the event, and all you beautiful people who came and spent your money we have raised over £2,200 which will be split between the church and the village hall. This is a great result and we thank you all most sincerely.
