Remembrance
Firstly a big thank you to all who organized and performed at the remembrance event last night. And a special thank you to Julie for setting the whole thing up. It was lovely to see so many in the church.
Tomorrow the Remembrance Sunday service is at 10.50am, to allow for the two minutes silence at 11.00am. The service will be taken by Rev Julie Nicholson. All welcome.
Christmas Bazaar
Another reminder for this, which is next Saturday 19th November in the village hall, starting at 2.30.
Pauline has asked me to include the following:
Pauline Curthoys and Diane Peplow are doing a Tombola for the Christmas bazaar on 19th November in the village hall we would really appreciate if you have any unwanted gifts or bottles of wine etc., please drop them to Pauline Oakcroft House or Diane at Southside please come and join us.
Stalls will include:
- Tombola
- Homemade cakes and produce
- Handmade cards
- Handmade cushions
- Make up bags
- Raffle
- Teas and homemade cakes
- Demonstration to make a Christmas wreath with Jo from Scentiments, Tetbury
Bonfire Night
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the bonfire night fireworks such a success. Too many to mention but you know who you are!
