A Special Remembrance Weekend in Shipton Moyne
Saturday 9th November 6.30pm (doors open 6pm)
The evening will be led by choir and organist from Celestia Music, conducted by Peter Gritton.
Celestia Music will be singing some absolute classics from the English Choral tradition by Parry, Finzi, Ireland, Harris and Bainton, all specially chosen and appropriate for Remembrance.

The programme will include poems from WW1 and WW2 by Brooke, Sassoon, Owen, and Lewis.

Sunday 10th November at 10.45am
A special service for Remembrance, where we will again welcome Celestia Music to lead the music. The service will include traditional hymns, words by war poet Lawrence Binyon, the laying of a poppy wreath, names of the fallen of Shipton Moyne, and the National two-minute silence at 11am.
