Friday 22nd March
The Importance of Nuclear Power for a Sustainable Future
By Dr David Bradbury 6.00pm for 6.30pm in the Church. Tickets £5 to include a glass of wine or soft drink. David Bradbury Talk, flier attached. This should be a very interesting evening. The talk itself will be short, but with time for questions and discussion.
Sunday 24th March – Palm Sunday
Procession from Shipton Cottage to the Church
11.00am followed by a reading of the Gospel during the service. Anyone wishing to take part in the dramatic reading of the Gospel during the service, please get in touch with Julie. There will be a short run through on Saturday 23rd at 6pm.
Friday 12th April – Saturday 13th April
History of Shipton Moyne
After a very successful exhibition held in 2012, The Friends of Shipton Moyne will be holding a similar exhibition, displaying photos, memorabilia, and a history of this beautiful village in which we live. The exhibition to be held in the Village Hall, will be open on Friday 12th April, between 7 and 9 pm, the cost of entry £5, includes a glass of wine. There will also be the opportunity to view on Saturday, 13th April, between 2 and 5 pm, cost of entry £5 which includes a cup of tea/coffee and cake. If you have any items, stories, pictures that you think might be suitable for the displays we would love to hear from you, and of course we always welcome help in holding any event.
