Shipton Moyne Post Office

The Post Office was for many years situated at The Cat and Custard Pot inn. The office was moved to the sitting room of 3 Southside and the Postmaster was Mr Leslie Gardiner. On his death in 1974, his widow, Doreen, took over. Its final position was a purpose built extension made to 3 Southside in 1983.

The Post Office has been closed for some years, but a mobile Post Office service still comes to the village each week and is located at the entrance to Southside, outside the former Post Office.
